This was my first visit to Northbay Automotive. I live in Petaluma. My usual mechanic is in San Rafael. I needed a local mechanic quickly since my truck is my only vehicle. I checked the local listings and Northbay came highly recommended. I had the check engine light flashing and a loss in power. Turns out I had a broken spark plug, a burnt coil, and two loose spark plugs in other cylinders. They diagnosed the problem, provided clear feedback on what needed to be done to fix the problem, and then fixed the problem before the end of the day to get me back on the road before the weekend. I am very pleased and I now have a local mechanic that I can trust to take my truck to.

Don and his staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Job well done.

Third or fourth appt. here. This shop is out of the ordinary! This time, I brought my car in for unknown brake problems. They could have sold me anything: how would I know? They fixed the problem and it was actually minor, but they need not have told me that. They have definitely earned what is most important: my trust. I will always go back, and I will refer anyone who asks! Thank you, Northbay, Don, Mike, and crew.
